1. Set user account password
Usually, the password of Windows user account can be seen when we start up. We need to enter the password before entering the computer desktop. First, we open the "control panel" on the computer screen, select "user account", and then select the account you need to set the password.
Next, select "create password", enter the password you set twice, and then click "create password" to take effect. If you want to cancel this password, just press enter when entering the password. This is the way to set the boot password. Please remember after setting the password.
2. Set the system startup password
In addition to setting the user account password, the operating system can also set the system startup password. This password will appear when the system is loaded, which is equivalent to that the computer has two layers of password protection. After setting the system startup password, the safe operation of the computer will be more effectively guaranteed.
Click "start" on the computer screen, select "run" and enter "syskey". At this time, the dialog box of "ensuring the security of Windows XP account database" will pop up, click "update", then select "password startup" in the dialog box of "startup password" and enter the password you want to set. If you select the option of "password generated by the system", After setting, the system does not need to enter a password at startup.
3. Set BIOS boot password
The user account password and system startup password are related to the operating system, but the BIOS password is different. Even if the operating system is damaged, this password will still exist. The method of setting the BIOS startup password is relatively complex, and it is still difficult for novices to set the BIOS startup password.
When starting up, press del key (generally press F2 key in notebooks) to enter CMOS setting, move the direction key, select "advanced BIOS features" enter, select "security option" or "password check" option, press enter to pop up the interface for entering password, and finally press F10 to save and exit, so that the BIOS startup password can be set.
I. preparations:
1. A USB flash disk, which starts the disk making software (such as old peach, Chinese cabbage, PE toolbox, etc.)
2. Make the USB flash disk into a startup disk.
3. Restart the computer, press the hotkey to enter the BIOS system (different brands, different specific hotkeys, generally F2, F12 or del, or directly press ESC), set the U disk as the first startup, restart the computer after saving, and the computer will enter the PE interface.
II. Clear the boot password
1. After entering the selection interface of General PE toolbox, select the eighth "run Windows login password cracking menu";
2. Select "01 clear windows login password (modify password)";
3. Go to this step, enter "1" and press enter;
4. Then we enter "0" and press enter (usually the first is Disk C, and the latter is arranged in turn);
5. Wait for this step;
6. Find the folder where the password is stored and press enter to continue.
7. Enter the user name of the administrator, that is, administrator, and press enter to the next step;
8. At this step, the windows password will be cleared. After we press "Y" to save, we can press "ESC" to exit.
9. Unplug the USB flash disk and remember to enter the BIOS after restart to change the startup item order back. Through the above operations, the password of windows is cleared by us, and there is no need to enter the password into the system in the future.
