Why is Huaxi village called "the first village in the world"?

Huaxi village is located in Huashi Town, Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province. It was founded in 1961. Over the years, under the leadership of old secretary Wu Renbao, Huaxi people have worked hard to carry forward the Huaxi spirit of "hard work, unity and centralized management, service distribution and good performance", and built a new socialist countryside. In recent years, West China has successively won such honors as "national advanced grass-roots party organization", "national model villagers' committee", "national civilized villages and towns", "national cultural model village demonstration site", "national advanced unit of Ideological and political work of township enterprises", "national advanced enterprises of township enterprises", "national first-class township enterprises" and "National Science and Technology Industrial Park of township enterprises". In 2009, Huaxi village was selected as the first village in China by China World Record Association. Huaxi village has created many of the world's and China's best by China World Record Association, and has been praised as "the first village in the world" by people from all walks of life at home and abroad!

China's richest village

Huaxi Village, formerly known as Huaxi brigade, was an advanced model of China's rural areas in the 1960s. In the 1960s, China's rural areas generally implemented the accounting method of "three-level ownership and team based" (commune, brigade and production team, with production team as the basic accounting unit). Huaxi Village implemented unified accounting of the brigade. At the end of the 1970s, China implemented the reform of "household contract responsibility system with linked output", Under great pressure, Huaxi village still implements brigade accounting. After the abolition of people's communes in rural China, the West China brigade was changed to West China village.

Since 2001, Wu Renbao and Huaxi people creatively put forward "one division and five unification" (one point is that the village and the enterprise should be separated, and the newly merged 16 villages should be planned into 12 villages. After the merger, the original village committee should still be autonomous and elected by the villagers of the village. The first is that the economy is under the unified management of West China, the second is that the labor force is arranged under the same conditions, the third is that the welfare is distributed uniformly by West China, the fourth is that the village is planned and constructed uniformly by West China, and the fifth is that the Party committee of West China is under the unified leadership.) Dahuaxi village is formed together with 16 surrounding villages, with an area expanded from 0.96 square kilometers to 30 square kilometers, and the population increased from more than 2000 to more than 30000. Huaxi village is a typical example of taking the road of common prosperity in rural areas in China. In 2004, the per capita wage income of Huaxi village was 122600 yuan. In the same year, the per capita net income of farmers was 2936 yuan and the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 9422 yuan. The income of people in West China is 41.76 times that of farmers and 13.01 times that of urban residents.
