How to set the resolution of the computer monitor

Screen resolution refers to the resolution of screen display. Different displays have corresponding screen resolution. Let me share with you the relevant knowledge about the resolution of computer monitor. Let's have a look!

1. The common size (length: width) classification of the display (the more "flat" the screen looks in the back, the more "positive" it looks in the front. The screen size and width height ratio are absolute concepts):

  5:4 = 1.25

  4:3 = 1.33

  16:10 = 1.60

  16:9 = 1.77

2. Common resolution classification of display:

  800 × 640 (aspect ratio 1.25), 800 × 600 (aspect ratio 1.33)

  1024 × 768 (aspect ratio 1.33),

  1280 × 960 (aspect ratio 1.33), 1280 × 1024 (aspect ratio 1.25), 1280 × 800 (aspect ratio 1.60), 1280 × 720 (aspect ratio 1.77)

  1400 × 1050 (aspect ratio 1.33), 1440 × 900 (aspect ratio 1.60), 1440 × 810 (aspect ratio 1.77)

  1600 × 1200 (aspect ratio 1.33),

  1680 × 1050 (aspect ratio 1.60), 1680 × 945 (aspect ratio 1.77)

  1920 × 1200 (aspect ratio 1.60), 1920 × 1080 (aspect ratio 1.77)

  2048 × 1536 (aspect ratio 1.33),
