At present, ZIP format belongs to one of several mainstream compression formats. Do you know how to open a zip file? Now I'll share with you how to open the zip file. Let's have a look!
Introduction to compression format:
The main common is Rar (most common) Zip (earliest). 7z (more popular now)
Each format is divided into different compression rates
The higher compression ratio should be. 7z, followed by Rar, finally zip

ZIP format file is a compressed file. After compression, the volume of the file will become smaller, which is more conducive to spread on the network. If you want to use the compressed file again, you must decompress it before you can use it. The common decompression software is WinRAR. The method of opening ZIP format file with WinRAR software is as follows:
1. Search the Internet and download winrar decompression software.
2. Installation process of WinRAR decompression software: after downloading, double-click the file Wrar to install, and select the path of file installation in the first installation window that pops up. Next, click Next directly to open the associated file type window, click "select all" on the window interface to associate all file types, and click "finish" to start the installation.
3. After the WinRAR software is installed, double-click the ZIP format file to be opened to open a window. First select the file or folder to view, then click the "decompression" button on the toolbar at the top of the window, select the directory to be decompressed in the pop-up "decompression path and selection" dialog box, and click "OK" after setting to decompress the current ZIP format file.
4. Finally, go to the location of the output file to view the specific contents of the compressed file.
Open WinRAR, click "options → settings", and then select the "path" tab. Do you see the top "folder for extracting temporary files"? It delays the compression time, because when rar starts to decompress, the decompressed files are temporarily placed in the temporary folder of "C: \ document ~ 1 \ MXD \ locals ~ 1 \ temp \" (this item is different for different users' machines) (as shown in Figure 1), and then cut them to the selected destination folder (generally the folder at the same level as the rar file) after decompression.
The extracted files are temporarily placed in a temporary folder
In general, the decompressed files are in the non system disk C, and the default temporary folder of WinRAR is Disk C, so this process can be shortened and WinRAR can directly put the decompressed files in the partition root directory where the rar files are located. Of course, the speed is fast.
The method is very simple: use a backslash "\" to replace the "C: \ document ~ 1 \ MXD \ locals ~ 1 \ temp \" just now, and finally confirm. (as shown in Figure 2)
Replace with a backslash
When decompressing some large rar compressed files in the future, you will feel that it is obviously a little faster. Try it quickly!
