There are two types of static IP. One is the IP address that is permanently assigned to a computer or used for routing. Generally, fixed IP will be used in optical fiber networks or domains connected together through optical fiber or network cable. The other is wireless routing, which connects to the Internet through the fixed IP assigned by the company. Next, I'll introduce the specific method of setting static IP for routers. You are welcome to refer to and learn.
The specific setting method is as follows:
1
First, the computer logs in to the router through the network cable or wireless network. Some routers can set the access port and IP. Users can log in to the router in non LAN
2
Enter "Internet configuration" in the router, and then select the WAN port that needs to be configured with static IP and click "Edit"
3
Select the static route in the route type city, then enter the parameters such as fixed IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS server, and then click "save" to complete the static route setting
4
After setting, you can check whether the link just set is effective in the status query. If you can't connect to the Internet, you need to check whether the dynamic IP and DNS settings are correct.
Wireless routing static IP configuration
1
First, connect the LAN port of the wireless router with the network cable or wireless, and insert the network cable from the main route of the operator or company into the WAN port.
2
The IP, MAC address, initial wireless password, connection user name, password and other parameters of the router will be pasted on the back of each router. Set the computer and router LAN port in the same address segment
3
Open IE, log in to the web address of the wireless router, and then enter the user name and password to enter the login interface
4
Under network parameters, click WAN port setting, then select the WAN port connection type, enter the IP, subnet mask, gateway and DNS provided by the company or operator, and then click Save to complete the static IP configuration.
5
After restarting the route, you can see the parameters just configured in the running state.
