Why add the Nobel earth prize?

In the face of the serious threats of the deteriorating earth environment, such as the destruction of the ozone layer, climate warming, land desertification, resource depletion and the sharp increase of population, in order to protect the earth and protect human survival, the Nobel Prize added a new award - the Earth Award in 1992.

The Nobel earth prize is awarded to those who have made outstanding contributions to the protection of the earth's environment. Seven awards are awarded each year, some of which are in non fixed areas, such as population growth, achievements in disarmament or arms reduction, resource protection, food and freshwater issues, and the only fixed award is the "earth ethics Award". In order to solve environmental problems such as soil erosion, the Nobel earth prize has been added.
