On March 28, Amazon launched a new Eero mesh network routing system, which combines the mesh network with the latest wi - fi 6 standard. Compared with independent routers, mesh networks increasingly provide more coverage and convenience, while wi - fi 6 brings faster speed and better experience than wifi-5.
Based on Eero 6, Amazon has launched two new mesh Wi Fi routers - Eero Pro 6e and Eero 6 +. Both routers support 6 GHz band and can also be used as ZigBee smart home relay hub.
At present, the starting price of Eero 6 is $89, Eero Pro 6e is $299 (about 1910.61 yuan), and Eero 6 + is $139 (about 888.21 yuan).
Eero claims that the pro 6e is by far the fastest router, with wired support of 2.3 Gbps and wireless support of 1.3 Gbps. The network coverage is up to 2000 square feet and can support up to 100 devices.
According to the official introduction, Eero 6 + is by far the most economical Gigabit router. It provides two 1.0 GB Ethernet ports and supports dual band WiFi and 160 MHz band. The router can cover up to 1500 square feet.
Both products support Eero truemesh technology, which can minimize network dead corners and intelligently avoid disconnection. Eero said that the device also supports OTA wireless updates and will provide other security and network management functions in the future (unlocked through a separate subscription).
