Steps that can't be solved by turning on the computer

Now we use computers more and more, and we often encounter the situation that the computer host can't open. So how to solve the problem that the computer host can't open? The following is the solution that I sorted out for you about the computer host can't start. I hope it can help you!

Check whether the host power supply works

Does the power supply fan turn? Move it to the air outlet of the switching power supply on the back of the host chassis by hand. If you feel the wind blowing out, the power supply is normal, and if there is no wind, the power supply is faulty; Do the three indicators of the keyboard (NumLock, capslock and ScrollLock) flash once when the host power switch is turned on? If yes, the power supply is normal; Is the power indicator and hard disk indicator on the host panel on? On, the power supply is normal. Because the power supply is abnormal or the motherboard is not powered on, the display does not receive the data signal, and obviously will not display.

Check whether the display is powered on

Has the power switch of the monitor been turned on? Is the power indicator on the monitor? Is the brightness potentiometer of the display turned to the minimum? Whether there is a "hissing" sound when moving to the display by hand, and whether the hairs on the back of the hand are upright?

Check whether the display card is in good contact with the display signal line

You can unplug the plug and check whether there are bends, broken pins and a lot of dirt in the D-shaped socket, which is a problem often encountered by many users. When connecting the D-shaped socket, due to uneven force, or forgetting to tighten the socket fixing screw, the socket has poor contact, or due to improper installation method, excessive force will cause broken needle or bending in the D-shaped socket, resulting in poor contact, etc.

Open the chassis and check whether the display card is installed correctly and in good contact with the motherboard slot

Does the display card or slot accumulate too much dust due to long service time, resulting in poor contact? Does the chip on the display card have signs of scorching and cracking? When the black screen is caused by the display card, there will be a short and four long "tick" sound prompt during the computer post. Try another good graphics card.

Check whether other boards are in good contact with the slots of the motherboard

Check whether the data cable and power cable of the hard disk are connected correctly? Replace the slots of other boards and clean the pins. Many people tend to overlook this point. In fact, due to the incorrect installation of sound card and other equipment, it is difficult to complete the system initialization, especially the wrong insertion of data cable and power cable of hard disk, which is also easy to cause no display fault.

Check whether the contact between the memory module and the motherboard is good and whether the quality of the memory module is excellent

Plug the memory module again, or replace it with a new one. If there is a problem with the memory module, there will be four consecutive "beeps" when the computer starts.

Check whether the contact between CPU and motherboard is good

Poor contact between CPU and slot 1 socket or socket 7 socket due to moving or other factors. Press the CPU by hand or remove the CPU and reinstall it. Since the CPU is a large heating part of the host, the socket 7 may cause bending and deformation of the motherboard. The motherboard can be leveled at the bottom of the CPU socket motherboard.

Check whether the bus frequency, system frequency and DIMM jumper of the motherboard are correct

Check each jumper one by one according to the instructions of the motherboard, and the sequence is "system frequency jumper - CPU main frequency jumper - DIMM frequency jumper". Be careful not to set the CPU voltage jumper too high.

Check parameter settings

Check whether the CMOS parameter setting is correct and the system software setting is correct. Check whether the compatibility between the graphics card and the motherboard is good. It's best to check the data.
