Now many people have multiple computers in the same LAN. If two computers want to transfer files to each other, you can use the sharing method. Here is the method of sharing files between the two computers I sorted out for your reference.
computers are in the same LAN. Click start to open the "control panel".
click on "network and Internet".
Click to open "network and sharing center".
Click to open "local connection" and click properties.
double click to open "Internet Protocol version 4" and set the IP address. We can first set a fixed IP address for each computer. For example, one is 192.168.1.10 and the other is 192.168.1.20. The subnet mask is generally 255.255.255.0 to prevent conflicts when automatically assigning IP addresses.
enable the "guest" account on both computers. The setting method is as follows: click "start" menu → click "login user Avatar" → "manage other users" → click "guest users" → click "enable".
then open "management tool" in "system security" in the control panel, click "local security policy" → "local policy" → "user permission assignment" → "access this computer attribute from the network", and select to add guest account.
open the control panel, click "network and Internet" → "network and sharing center" → "select Homegroup and sharing options" → "change advanced sharing settings". In the pop-up option box, select "enable network discovery", "enable file and printer sharing", "turn off shared folder sharing", and click "save changes".
finally, set the shared folder, right-click the folder to be shared, select properties, click "share" → "advanced sharing" → "permission" → "everyone", click add, and the permission level is set to "read". If you need to cancel, enter "advanced sharing" and remove the check box of "sharing".
