Sexually transmitted diseases, which are currently under control in China, are syphilis, gonorrhea, genital Chlamydia trachomatis infection, condyloma acuminatum, genital herpes and AIDS. Chancre and venereal lymphogranuloma are very rare in China, so they are not specifically described here.

There are many causes of sexually transmitted diseases, and they are all transmitted by contact. First, it is caused by the spread of public goods, such as bedding, bathtub, toilet ring, towel, etc. sexually transmitted diseases are caused by contacting bacteria through damaged skin. The second is mother to child transmission. For example, pregnant women suffer from genital herpes and condyloma acuminatum before delivery, and newborns can be infected through the birth canal; Or pregnant women with syphilis or gonorrhea during pregnancy can infect the fetus through the placenta. Thirdly, sexually transmitted diseases are caused by various forms of sexual intercourse, such as, anal sex, breast sex, vaginal sex and so on.
